Setting Realistic Expectations for your Wedding Photographs..

It is very easy to go crazy in Pinterest and put together perfectly looking mood board for your wedding day. It is the same easy to start believing that that is what you are going to get.
However there are plenty of factors that Impact your wedding photography and not all of them are within your photographers ability to control.
Weather
location
season
time of the day
backdrop
quality of the light
your mood
your guests mood
schedule of the day
etc.

it all influences your photographs..

Professional photographers aren’t magicians, especially documentary and story telling wedding photographers. We are there to tell your wedding day story in a way it unravels. We are not there to make it look something else. We are not there to move things out of the way during the prep time however we do it every now and then for the best compositions and so the photographs don’t look too cluttered. We are not there to fight vicars or priests at the church when they say that we are only allowed to stay at the back and take photographs from there.
If your timeline gets thrown off certain photo ops will get derailed. If your ceremony starts later than planned and is outdoors, you may run out of natural light. If it is raining outside we will need to have an alternative option for group photographs indoors and so often venues are so tight and it is impossible to take those bigger group photographs.
There are so many factors that can change on the day, but..

We will always try and do our best so we can deliver your beautiful love story a couple of weeks later..
