It is always soo difficult to talk about yourself... but I am up for a challenge! My full name is Jekaterina, everybody calls me Kat. (I know! I would also struggle to pronounce it!) I am based on the border of Cotswolds, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire & Oxfordshire counties. (How lucky! There are so many beautiful wedding venues where I would really love to work!)
I am an internationally published & fully qualified portrait & event photographer.
I received my bachelor’s degree in applied arts as well as my master’s degree in photography. I am continuously influenced by the flairs of arts, fashion and interior design. Aside from shooting weddings, I love traveling and experiencing new cultures, learning new skills, reading, making lists and putting together mood boards. One day I will leave by the ocean.

In contrast to numerous wedding photographers, my background is deeply rooted in the arts. As an artist of over 20 years, my documentary photography style is romantic with a touch of fine art elegance and editorial fashion. My focus is to preserve your best memories that will be unique to you by creating elegant images with genuine emotions. I want you to remember exactly how life was in those moments, both the calm, intimate ones and the unkept, silly ones.
I feel so lucky and privileged to be such a significant part of my client’s special day. The honour to be part of this event is a hugely rewarding gift.

I have been lucky enough to photograph weddings at some incredible venues in my time. These include Eastington Park, Glenfall House, Matara Center, Merriscourt, Purton House, The Pear Tree, The Swan Hotel in Bibury, to name just a few.
